Welcome to Higher Ground Online

Higher Ground Online is devoted to serving the one true God. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Jacob. The God who promised to Abraham land that reached as far as he could see and seed that would be larger than the sand of the seashores. The God who promised to David that He would build him a house and raise up a son to him of whom GOD Himself would be the father of. This son would reign on David's throne forever with righteousness and equity.

The prophets spoke of this man to come, The Messiah, and when he would rule on this earth as King, established as GOD's righteous judge. We know this man to be Jesus the Christ who was a man, commissioned by GOD to herald the message of the soon coming Kingdom of GOD. Jesus the Christ obeyed his God even unto death, thus provided the atoning sacrifice for man's sins. Jesus was raised from the dead and ascended to the right hand of GOD where he now serves as our High Priest.

And until that time of restoration comes, we are commissioned too - to be disciples of and ambassadors for Christ Jesus, preaching to and teaching the nations the message of the coming Kingdom of God, and what they must do to enter it. We must hold fast to the profession of our faith as Abraham and Jesus did. Not having yet received the promises, but seeing them afar off, being persuaded of them and embracing them, confessing to be strangers and pilgrims on this earth, we seek that country whose builder and maker is GOD.
