Winter Advance 2006 Resources
God is committed to His
people. Does
anyone need more evidence for this than the cross itself? What about
us? Are we committed to our God? Are we committed to Christ? Do the
pressures or pleasures of the world over power us and tempt us to fall
away?
Rather than a retreat
from the
world, our winter camp is called an "advance" as our goal is to push
back the enemy once we leave. This year we had more than just teachings
- be sure to check out our commitment sharings, short testimonies of
committed young adults. Also, listen or download the main teachings on
the topic of "Christian Commitment" and check out some pictures from
the weekend! If you have any questions or for more information, please contact us!

"If it be so, our
God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing
fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But even if He
does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to
serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up."
- Daniel 3:17-18
"You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is
hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the
world makes himself an enemy of God."
- James 4:4
"But the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the
word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with
perseverance."
